Meet Ashton

Ashton holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Ithaca College with a focus in oboe studies, backed by a strong foundation in music theory and aural training.

He has taught high school bands and choruses (grades 5–12) as well as beginner piano lessons for all ages. Ashton plays — and teaches — a wide range of instruments: flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, trumpet, French horn, trombone, and tuba, and is proficient on all of them.

He offers lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, helps them prepare for NYSSMA evaluations, and also teaches reed-making for oboists.
