Dr. Graeme


Dr. Graeme is currently Adjunct Professor of Percussion at The College of St. Rose in Albany, NY, where he teaches percussion and drum set lessons and is the director of the Percussion Ensemble. A versatile performer, Mr. Francis's drum set work includes performances with such jazz luminaries as Ed Smith, Bill Watrous, Chris Thomas, Ray Vega, Pete Rodriguez, and Doc Watkins, with whom he performed at Carnegie Hall. Additionally, his percussion work has included solo and section work with orchestras across the US and Canada. Dr. Francis endorses Vic Firth sticks and mallets, Zildjian Cymbals, Yamaha Percussion instruments, Remo Drumheads, and is a member of the Scholarly Research Committee of the Percussive Arts Society.
