Iggy

Iggy graduated from the University of the Arts with a degree in Jazz Guitar and a masters in Music Education. While working regularly as a musician in Philadelphia and New York City, he studied privately with jazz legends Jimmy Bruno and Pat Martino and received the Bill Fender Award for Outstanding Performance. He has two records out with local acoustic duo Dr. Baker and will have a chapter included in the 2020 McFarland book Teaching Popular Music in the Classroom entitled “People, Hell and Angels: The Socio- Cultural Contributions to the Rise and Demise of Jimi Hendrix”.
