Jarod

Jarod has been a performing string musician for more than ten years. He studied classical double bass at Schenectady County Community College, string pedagogy at The Crane School of Music, and currently holds a masters degree in Jazz Studies from SUNY Purchase. At Crane, he studied the unique challenges of teaching violin, viola, cello, and bass. Currently teaching strings and general music in a public school, Jarod enjoys playing with music acts in New York City on the weekends as well as pickup basketball during the week!
