Mark Ahola
Mark has taught electric/acoustic guitar, ukulele, and other fretted instruments to students of all ages and levels over his career. He incorporates music theory, reading, playing by ear, improvisation, and composition according to student interests.
Mark strives to instill joy while musicking with each student both in person and virtually. He received a BA in music from University of Illinois, a MM in music therapy from Illinois State University, and has been a practicing music therapist for 30 years.
