Micah
Micah Scoville was originally a rock guitarist who played the local Albany scene in the late 80’s with several Rock bands. After graduating from the College of St. Rose in 1996, he continued his career and studies in New York City where he earned a Master’s of Music degree at The Mannes College of Music in classical guitar. His studies have also brought him to renowned New York venues including the Symphony Space, the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College, and the Winter Garden Theater. Mr. Scoville has studied classical guitar with Anthony Sano, Joel Brown, Michael Newman, Fredrick Hand, and Ben Verdery. Aside from performing in New York, Micah has also taught classroom instruction in theory, ear training and guitar at the Queens Music School, the National Guitar Workshop and the College of St. Rose. For over Two decades now Micah has been a member of the adjunct faculty at SUNY Adirondack.
