Coral Vincent Bell Electric Sitar 60's - All Original w/case

This is the rare Coral Electric Sitar from the 60's.  Designed by Vincent Bell and produced by Danelectro under the Coral brand, this offered a way for guitarists to easily get the sounds of the Sitar which were being made more popular by Ravi Shankar and George Harrison. Since then, it has been used on many classic recordings including Paint It Black, Don't Come Around Here No More, Ain't Talkin Bout Love, Whereever I May Roam and many more!

It is in excellent condition condsidering its age and features 6 playable strings along with 13 "sympathetic" strings.  There are a few spots of wear and dings along the edges of the body.  The frets are in great shape with little almost no signs of wear.  Neck feels great and the finish on the back is excellent with no noticable dings or checking.  The tuners have a patina to them which would be expected with the age of this instrument.  Original "PAT. PEND" Dymo label is in tact on the back of the headstock.  Vol/Tone for each of the three pickups.
