Skyla

Skyla has been playing violin for 10 years and began playing cello last year. She has been giving violin lessons to students in the East Greenbush Central School District and the Averill Park Central School District for the past 3 years. She is currently attending The College of Saint Rose for a degree in Biology Adolescent Education/Special Education (Dual) BA/MSED and is minoring in Chemistry and Mathematics. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering in several special education classrooms at Columbia High School and this unique experience has expanded upon her ability to effectively teach music to students with differing abilities. She owns an electric violin, an octave violin, a couple acoustic violins, and an acoustic cello that offer her students a unique experience.
